Forget about Success or Failure
Forget about success.
Forget about failure.
A writer who received a lot of positive comments from his fans, felt that he had one of the greatest success in life. To keep up to the expectations of his fans, he brought forward the ideas and style of his last book to his next new production, however, the outcome did not yield as much resonance with his fans anymore. By defining what his success is, this has limited his growth and creativity.
A school teacher who was assigned to the worst class in the school, told his students that he had destroyed all previous records. He would not care about their past, whether it was good or bad, so everything was all new and afresh for him. He told the students to treasure their brand new image, and do their best not to destroy their new identity now. In the end, the class transformed to become the top performer in school. By wiping out the past, failure is no longer their limitation, instead they have the space and chance to become the best they can imagine.
Food for thought...
