Pride Display

28 June is the Pride Parade in Toronto. Pride is represented by a rainbow of 6 colours. Pride is a colourful event, just like how colourful the lifes of the involved parties...

Different interest groups participated in the parade, including AIDS awareness groups, government bodies, corporations, and even the policies, firemen etc.

Men and women flexing in their skimpies or nakedness are always an attraction, all shapes & sizes! Censorship in action: no naked pictures to be posted ;) sorry!

Cross-dressing - reminds me of the AIESEC times - our recruitment camps!

In the last 8 years, same-sex marriage has become legal in 7 countries. The first ceremonies were performed in the Netherlands in 2001. Belgium followed in 2003, Canada and Spain in 2005 and South Africa in 2006. The most recent countries to allow same-sex marriage are Norway, which introduced the law in 2008, and Sweden, in May of this year.

In most parts of the world, same-sex relationships still remain as a controversial issue. Some points of view from different sources to share:
~~ If using the Bible as the standard, is same-sex relationship considered a wrong thing? However, lots of churches are already accepting the novice act, how come?!
~~ The used-to-be-minority group used to be a minority, or rather they are living in seclusion. However, it has evolved to a situation that if you are not accepting it, you are considered an outcast, in such a way that you are being forced to accept them?
~~ Another counter arguement is that, the society is constantly being shaped by human activities, changes in thoughts and lifestyles. Example, over the decades, divorce is already legalized and accepted, despite of the fact that the couple once exchanged their vows in presence of God.
~~ Overall, as long as these people are happy with their life, and they don't do anything to harm others, then go ahead! Enjoy life!
