Go Canada Go!

Hooray! WE WON!! Yeah!!!

The Canadian men's ice hockey team won the USA - 3-2 in overtime.

It is the last piece of gold to add to a total of 14 gold medals - highest number of gold, and overall 3rd in position in the Winter Olympics 2010. Pretty impressive results! I am proud for Canada.

Downtown Toronto exploded in a deafening din of car horns and cheers in the seconds after Sidney Crosby put the puck through U.S. goaltender Ryan Miller's legs for a 3-2 overtime win. I could hear cars horning down the streets, and people cheering along the way! Dundas Square and part of Yonge Street was closed with live telecast of the game on a big screen. It was a wild celebration now!

Chart of Achievement:
1st - U.S. - 9G, 15S, 13B = 37
2nd - Germany - 10G, 13S, 7B = 30
3rd - Canada - 14G, 7S, 5B = 26
4th - Norway - 9G, 8S, 6B = 23
5th - Austria - 4G, 6S, 6B = 16
