There are so many Gemini I know who are having their birthdays these few weeks. By chance, a friend from China is having the same birthday as me, and my neighbour happened to have her advance celebration on Friday. Also knew another friend's wife having same birthday as me too.
It was Friday, gave myself an 'early' break, left office at 6pm, this was the earliest I can leave since many weeks ago, when work was killing me. So back home to dump my backpack and make pretty! ;)
Went for Japanese food, highly recommended by another friend, also a Gemini, who is soon to have his birthday too. So 5 of us had a good feast, and well-prepared for the drinks and all...
The party was held in the Drake Hotel, consisted of a restaurant-lounge, patio upstairs, basement disco, very cool! Lots of friends came, and all were my neighbour's friends. In fact, we were just crashing into the party and made it ours, since it was the actual big day for us. Met many interesting and good-looking people. Got some unexpected 'gifts' at the party, but just flings, and I hope they all go away!!!
Got a present from JP, Lonely Planet for Canada, exactly what I needed! Thanks to JP :) Also not forgetting to mention, got a surprise call from Carol, so happy...she called to wish me good, all the way from Europe! Cool! Also received emails and sms from all my good-looking friends! Thanks everyone! :)
