Church bells party

Got invited to a friend's friend's wedding party in Oakville over the weekend. My first one here in Canada. It was a church ceremony plus the reception in the evening (aka the banquet).

Something interesting for me...
The wedding couple has a gift registry with the Bay shopping mall, where they put up a shopping list with all fancy items that they want. And you know, guests can just select any of those gifts as presents for them. We got them a set of kitchen ware, made up of dinner set plus cooker stuff...but we never really see how our gifts look like...

Ok so the dinner started with salad, pasta, steak (hmm...the other alternative was the vegetarian set, so I had a rabbit's meal then), dessert, and last the wedding cake. Oh yes, plus the open bar, that you can drink to your fill or over ;)

All in all, I enjoyed the company, music, dancing and party! :D
