Take-Our-Kids-to-Work Day

Haa...got this interesting email in office...guess it is some new initiatives...seems like we will have some kids running around on that day...hope they are not the nasty little brats, chasing around the office...haa ;) But I guess, being grade 9, they are about 14, 15 years old, so I guess they should be pretty decent and sensible dudes!

I am pleased to announce that our GTA practice will once again participate in the annual Take Our Kids to Work Day on Wednesday, November 5, 2008.

The program offers Grade 9 students the opportunity to spend the day at work with a parent, relative or friend to help develop an understanding of the working world, and learn about career opportunities and the type of skills required to be successful in business. The program has been successfully hosted in the GTA for several years.

While the specific details of the program have not been finalized, we will continue with the same format as last year. In the morning, participants will enjoy a series of fun and informative presentations on what its like to work at XXX, followed by job shadowing with their host in the afternoon.
