A Saturday morning, at the most busy city centre, thousands of people in coats of red, blue, and green (which represent the different workers' trade unions) marched onto the street and through the drizzle to protest against the company...

Reason: Volkswagen decides to close down its plant in Belgium and shift it back to Germany. More than 4000 jobs will be lost, including those suppliers which may be affected as well. People say that it may be because of nationalism...

Just on the other side of the street, just the very next one, people shopped (as usual) around the xmas stalls, oblivious to anything...ironic though...
